Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 5+ years in backend development.
• Advanced proficiency in Go or Java and distributed systems.
• Hands-on cloud infrastructure experience (GCP) and containerised environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services in Go and Java.
• Lead internal and customer-facing projects from concept through delivery.
• Own backend architecture, driving improvements in design, reliability, and maintainability.
• Build high-availability, cloud-native infrastructure that scales with growth.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability for fast issue resolution.
• Contribute to major platform initiatives including automated testing and data integration.
• Provide technical mentorship and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve the product beyond the backend.
