Job summary

ARQ is a fast-growing fintech redefining cross-border value movement. We seek a Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end systems powering our disruptive products.

You will work on greenfield work and evolving critical components such as payments, treasury, and transaction booking, building REST APIs and microservices with Java/Spring Boot. A track record in hypergrowth startups and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Backend development experience with Java
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Math/Physics/Engineering or related field
• Excellent English communication (spoken and written)
• Track record of building complex products in hypergrowth startups

Responsibilities

• Greenfield development and improvement of existing systems
• Build REST APIs and microservices; evolve systems like payments, treasury, transactions, and crypto liquidity
