Job summary

BVNK is seeking a talented Backend Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. You’ll help build the crypto-enabled payments infrastructure, focusing on speed, reliability, and scalable architecture for cross-border transactions.

You will work in a native Java/Spring Boot stack, with asynchronous messaging and microservices, collaborating across squads to deliver robust, well-documented code and contribute to BVNK’s growth in financial services globally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Backend Development experience in FinTech or similar domain.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Ability to design, architect, debug, test, and document code.
• Experience with asynchronous messaging and microservices.
• Understanding of design patterns and principles.
• Experience taking a product from initiation through launch and post-launch support.
• Knowledge of financial services, payments or crypto is a plus.
• Some experience with distributed ledger technology is beneficial.
• Willingness to participate in out-of-hours on-call rota.
