Job summary

Digital Waffle, a fast-growing PropTech backed by VC, is hiring a Senior Product Engineer to build the technology powering its next growth phase. This isn’t a SaaS role; you’ll own significant backend systems and contribute to technical leadership in a high-velocity environment.

• Strong commercial experience building production backend services with Python and FastAPI.
• Experience in fast-growth startups or scale-ups through Series A/B growth.
• Owned significant areas of a product and delivered features end-to-end.
• Experience in high-performance teams valuing speed, ownership and quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Take ownership of services end-to-end from architecture to production support.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to deliver high-impact features quickly.
• Drive AI-assisted engineering workflows to boost developer productivity.
• Champion testing, automation and modern software development practices.
• Contribute to architectural decisions as the platform scales.
• Play a key role in shaping engineering culture and leadership pathways.
