Job summary

Lorien is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a major technology modernisation and infrastructure transformation programme. The role bridges business and technical teams across cloud adoption, legacy platform refresh and resilience initiatives in a regulated financial services context.

You will gather and translate business needs into actionable requirements, lead workshops and ensure delivery aligns with strategic objectives, working in a hybrid model with 50% London office."

Qualifications

• Extensive Business Analysis experience delivering large-scale technology/infrastructure change programmes.
• Experience in complex enterprise environments, ideally financial services/regulatory sectors.
• Demonstrable experience supporting technology modernisation and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Experience producing BA artefacts: process maps, requirements docs, traceability matrices.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and document business and technical requirements.
• Produce user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specs.
• Facilitate workshops with diverse stakeholders.
• Support backlog prioritisation and manage dependencies with delivery teams.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and project leadership to align solutions with objectives.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
• Analyse current and future operating models and tech impacts.
• Identify risks and opportunities for process improvement.
• Support testing, implementation and transition activities.
