Job summary

LA International is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join a large-scale transformation programme in London. This role offers development of your business analysis career while delivering improvements to public services within a major programme.

You will build relationships, elicit and document requirements, contribute to workshops, and work across Agile and Waterfall environments as you grow with mentors and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting BA activities in a project/change environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
• Understanding of BA techniques, tools, and methodologies.
• Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
• Support elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements.
• Work independently on tasks and manage priorities.
• Assist identify business problems and opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Produce high-quality BA documentation (process maps, requirements, user stories, business cases).
• Support delivery using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
• Share knowledge and mentoring where appropriate.
