Job summary

CGI is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer in the UK to support a secure Local Azure-based environment for defence capabilities. You will collaborate with infrastructure, security and application teams to maintain reliability and drive cloud transformation in a live production setting.

You will contribute to scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure and help optimize deployments, monitoring, automation, and operational support in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI.
• Structured ITIL-aligned environment experience.
• Defence or regulated sector experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain secure Azure cloud infrastructure in live environments.
• Develop and deliver infrastructure improvements and automation.
• Monitor and resolve platform incidents and performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional security and tech teams.
• Automate operational processes using IaC and scripting.
• Ensure platform security, resilience and compliance.
• Improve documentation and standard operating procedures.
