Job summary

Penguin Random House in London is seeking a senior Technical Solution Architect to shape and govern our integration architecture. You will steer the migration toward a governed, service-oriented platform using Azure services, guiding delivery teams to practical, scalable solutions.

You’ll bring hands-on C#/.NET expertise, generate reusable patterns, and collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to align with strategy while maintaining live services. Hybrid work with a London focus is expected.

Qualifications

• Substantial senior software engineering experience with architecture accountability.
• Hands-on C# and .NET, including ASP.NET Core and microservices.
• Strong domain-driven design and event-driven architecture practice.
• Deep Azure integration knowledge and related services.
• Infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD and automated testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the target integration architecture and migration roadmap.
• Define reusable patterns for APIs, events, adapters and communications.
• Design Azure integration solutions using key Azure services.
• Establish non-functional requirements for security, resilience and observability.
• Lead architecture reviews and mentor delivery teams.
