Job summary

You will build data pipelines, optimise transformations and collaborate with architects and analysts to deliver trusted analytics. You will mentor teammates, drive DevOps practices and help shape best-practice data engineering across projects, ensuring robust, scalable solutions that align with architecture standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Engineer in Azure-based environments.
• Proficiency with Azure Databricks and SQL/Python for data transformation.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design & build scalable data pipelines using Azure technologies.
• Develop & maintain Databricks notebooks and data engineering solutions.
• Create & optimise SQL and Python-based data transformations.
• Implement & manage Azure Data Factory pipelines and orchestration.
• Collaborate with Data Architects on solution design and best practices.
• Support & enhance data modelling activities with Data Analysts.
• Monitor & improve data quality, lineage and platform reliability.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline issues across environments.
• Coach & mentor junior team members.
