Job summary

Simmons & Simmons is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Analyst to lead design, implementation and governance of the Microsoft Azure platform. The role focuses on secure, scalable cloud solutions with IaC and CI/CD automation, working with architects, security teams and application teams to enable safe delivery.

You will drive FinOps, implement Zero Trust patterns, and mentor engineers in Azure engineering and DevOps practices while maintaining strong security and compliance across the cloud

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience engineering solutions in Microsoft Azure (IaaS & PaaS).
• Strong IAM knowledge: Entra ID, Conditional Access, RBAC, MFA, SSO.
• Experience with IaC (Bicep/Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Azure networking knowledge: VNETs, ExpressRoute, VPN, hub-and-spoke.
• Security: Key Vault, secret rotation, Zero Trust principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and govern Azure cloud platform across the firm.
• Develop reusable IaC modules using Bicep and Terraform.
• Consume and maintain standardised deployment pipelines to enable delivery teams.
• Embed security controls into delivery pipelines (DevSecOps) and ensure compliance.
• Lead incident management and provide 3rd/4th line technical support.
• Collaborate with Security, CISO and networks teams to maintain a strong security posture.
