Job summary

UBDS is seeking an Azure Application Developer to join the engineering team. You’ll design, develop and maintain cloud-native applications and RESTful APIs within Microsoft Azure, delivering secure, scalable solutions for complex client engagements and production-ready deployments.

The role requires strong C#/.NET skills, API design experience, and familiarity with Azure API Management, Functions, App Service, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Strong Azure application development experience.
• Proven API design and delivery in production.
• Experience with Azure API Management and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Git, automated testing and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of API security, authentication and authorization.
• Experience with IaC such as Terraform or Bicep.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain RESTful APIs and applications within Azure.
• Build cloud native services using Azure Functions and App Service.
• Develop and manage APIs with Azure API Management.
• Integrate systems with data platforms and third-party services.
• Implement secure authentication and RBAC; ensure production readiness.
