Get2Talent is supporting a leading technology consultancy seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Technical Consultant. You’ll join a fast-paced Agile delivery team, designing and building secure AWS infrastructure, automated deployment pipelines and shared platform services for high-profile UK Government and Defence projects.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone experienced in building new infrastructure—not solely maintaining existing environments.

Qualifications

• Design and build automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and operate shared platform services for deployment, operation, and monitoring.
• Create infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and manage secure AWS cloud infrastructure
• Create automated CI/CD pipelines
• Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform
• Build and operate platforms for containerised applications
• Support software deployment, monitoring and operational performance
• Lead technical delivery throughout the full project lifecycle
• Advise customers on AWS architecture and technology choices
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships and key project deliverables
• Mentor engineers and support junior team members
• Promote Agile best practices, including Scrum and Kanban
