Job summary

Get2Talent, acting for a leading technology consultancy, seeks an experienced AWS DevOps Technical Consultant to design and build secure AWS infrastructure, automate deployments, and provide technical leadership on UK Government and Defence projects.

You will work in a fast-paced Agile delivery team, hands-on with IaC, CI/CD, and container platforms, mentoring engineers and guiding delivery from design through to stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial AWS experience.
• Proven experience building new cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation and containerisation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and manage secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Create automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform.
• Build and operate platforms for containerised applications.
• Support software deployment, monitoring and operational performance.
• Lead technical delivery throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Advise customers on AWS architecture and technology choices.
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships and key project deliverables.
• Mentor engineers and support junior team members.
• Promote Agile best practices, including Scrum and Kanban.
