Job summary

UBDS Group is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to lead the design, build and delivery of cloud infrastructure and automation for clients. The role blends hands‑on engineering with technical ownership, guiding engineers and shaping engineering practices.

You will own cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, IaC, and deployment automation, collaborating with architects, security specialists and client teams to deliver secure, scalable, and repeatable solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant hands‑on AWS experience.
• Experience designing, building and operating cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub).
• Proficiency with Terraform and IaC at scale.
• Kubernetes expertise with containerised workloads.
• Understanding of DevSecOps and security‑by‑design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, build and evolution of secure AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps capabilities.
• Design and maintain scalable, secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Own IaC approaches using Terraform for repeatable environments.
• Define and promote engineering standards across teams.
• Embed automation across build, test, deployment and operations.
• Mentor and develop engineers; drive continuous improvement.
