Job summary

Visa, via Currency cloud, seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable AWS-based infrastructure. You will implement IaC with Terraform, manage Kubernetes workloads, and help drive automation and security across the cloud stack.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to reliability improvements, and participate in on-call rotations. This mid-level role requires hands-on cloud experience and strong scripting abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code patterns.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Scripting skills (Python or Bash).
• Experience with monitoring/observability stacks (CloudWatch, Datadog).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS services at scale with emphasis on reliability.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform and reusable modules.
• Manage container workloads on Kubernetes (EKS) and service mesh setup.
• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability stacks for performance.
• Enforce security best practices and governance across cloud infrastructure.
