Job summary

Credera, a global consulting firm, is hiring for a permanent, full-time Technology Solutions role based in London/Leeds/Manchester/Newcastle with a hybrid model requiring three days onsite. The salary range is £60,000–£100,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits.

You will design scalable cloud architectures and lead delivery teams, delivering secure, cost-effective solutions for public sector and regulated environments.

Qualifications

• We require 5+ years in cloud architecture, engineering and transformation delivery.
• AWS certification at Associate or Professional level.
• Strong AWS expertise and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience designing cloud architectures and migrations.
• Target architectures, platform capabilities and roadmaps aligned to business.
• Platform engineering, IaC and modern DevOps practices.
• Cloud security, governance and resilience controls.
• Leading small teams or workstreams and delivering on time, cost and quality.
• Strong client stakeholder relationships and guidance to delivery teams.
• Ability to assess risks and propose pragmatic solutions.
• Understanding of cloud financial management and cost-effective delivery.
• Experience in client-facing consulting and delivering business value via technology.
• Experience mentoring engineers and juniors.
• Active SC clearance required; BPSS compliant; UK residency last 5 years, 6 months abroad limit.
• Desirable: public sector or regulated industry experience.
• Desirable: multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Desirable: IaC tools Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
• Desirable: CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitLab.
• Desirable: cloud landing zones and platform engineering capabilities.
• Desirable: cloud networking, identity, security and resilience patterns.
• Desirable: support for DevOps/SRE teams.
• Desirable: more cloud certifications (Azure or GCP).
• Desirable: AI/agentic tooling knowledge (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
• Desirable: FinOps practices and cloud cost optimisation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• We design scalable, secure and resilient cloud solutions for clients.
• We help clients adopt, modernise and optimise cloud platforms for public sector and regulated environments.
• We shape architectures, advise clients and lead small teams while staying close to delivery.
• We define target architectures, platform capabilities and roadmaps with business objectives.
• We support cloud migration and modernisation; enhance delivery with AI-enabled tooling.
• We provide architectural guidance, assess risks and propose pragmatic solutions.
• We mentor engineers and junior team members.
