Job summary

Volare Aviation Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a seasoned Materials & Supply Chain Manager to oversee sourcing, purchasing, stock control, and logistics for aircraft parts and tooling across our fleets.

The role leads Purchasing and Stores teams, manages supplier relationships and AOG requirements, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives improvements in inventory, supply chain efficiency, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in private aviation sector
• Proven managerial experience
• Fixed wing and rotary parts procurement experience is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Oversee sourcing, purchasing and stock control of aircraft parts, rotables and tooling for all fleets.
• Lead Purchasing and Stores teams; manage supplier relationships and AOG requirements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (CAA, EASA, 2-REG) and traceability of materials.
• Develop optimal stock levels to support planned and unplanned maintenance.
• Negotiate contracts, service agreements and pricing for best value.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure SLAs are met or exceeded.
• Coordinate material logistics including import/export, customs clearance and global shipping.
• Oversee calibrations, tooling controls and exchange/return programmes.
• Maintain documentation for airworthiness and CAMO record-keeping.
