Job summary

BakerHicks is seeking an experienced Architect to lead aviation design delivery in a senior or principal role in Greater London. You will drive multi-disciplinary design development, mentor junior staff and liaise with clients to ensure technical quality and regulatory compliance across projects.

The ideal candidate is registered (RIBA/ARB) with a track record delivering RIBA Stage 4 aviation schemes, and can coordinate complex multi‑disciplinary teams while maintaining high standards of safety

Qualifications

• Registered Architect (RIBA/ARB) with aviation project delivery experience.
• Strong design, detailing and specification writing skills.
• Experience leading teams within a multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural design services and consultancy.
• Produce design deliverables and oversee project surveys and briefs.
• Check drawings for quality and compliance; lead design reviews.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver safe, buildable solutions.
• Mentor Architects, Technicians and Early Careers professionals.
