Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking a skilled AV and live events leader to deliver high-profile staff, partner, executive and VIP events. You will translate stakeholder needs into practical technical designs and coordinate internal teams and external suppliers to ensure flawless live delivery.

You will manage technical readiness, safety, resilience and budgets across live environments, while guiding contractors and junior staff to uphold McLaren’s high delivery standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading technical operations, AV, broadcast and live production for high-profile events.
• Strong AV/IT engineering and technical design expertise, covering complex systems and production infrastructure.
• Proven ability to translate stakeholder requirements into practical technical solutions from concept to live delivery.
• Experience managing suppliers, contractors and budgets under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical delivery of staff, partner, executive and VIP events.
• Translate requirements into safe, reliable technical solutions from planning through live delivery.
• Coordinate internal resources, suppliers and contractors to maintain high delivery standards.
• Own technical readiness, infrastructure, resilience and issue resolution in live environments.
• Ensure all operations meet health, safety, budgets and standards.
• Indirectly manage contractors and team members to uphold high standards.
