Job summary

Rafferty Resourcing Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Lead AV Installation Engineer to oversee commercial AV installations and mentor a small on-site team. You will take ownership of projects, wire racks, install equipment, and resolve on-site issues while delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Several years of commercial AV installation experience.
• Strong practical AV knowledge.
• Good rack building, cabling and termination skills.
• General understanding of audio, video and networking.
• Confidence troubleshooting problems on site.
• Experience on larger commercial AV projects.
• Ability to help or guide other engineers.
• Professional approach on client sites.
• Relevant industry/site qualifications would be useful.
• Driving licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work on commercial AV installations across London.
• Take ownership of your work on site.
• Support and guide other engineers when needed.
• Build and wire AV racks.
• Install and connect AV equipment.
• Carry out cable terminations.
• Work confidently with a range of AV systems and technologies.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on site.
• Collaborate with other technical and project teams.
• Ensure the finished installation meets high standards.
