Job summary

Lead Audio Visual Installation Engineer role based in Sheffield and the Yorkshire area, with responsibilities spanning site surveys, on-site installations, and management of subcontractors. You will lead AV projects for national clients, ensuring high standards of quality, safety and professionalism across all sites.

The position offers a full-time permanent contract, a salary of £32,000 to £37,000 per year, and opportunities to work with cutting-edge AV technology and major industry brands.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' AV installation experience.
• On-site client-facing experience.
• Knowledge of LCD/LED displays, video conferencing, video over IP, and video matrix systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and advise on AV hardware, software, and resource requirements.
• Carry out first-fix cable installations and complete end-to-end AV system setup.
• Lead on-site installations nationwide, maintaining a strong quality focus.
• Brief and manage installation partners and subcontractors.
• Make informed decisions around scope changes and risk management on-site.
• Provide technical support including audio and lighting programming.
• Deliver service visits in line with SLAs for key clients.
• Assist with sourcing, vetting, and onboarding local installation engineers.
