As our business grows, we seek experienced Senior Automation Test Engineers to join our live projects within the Central Government team.

Working in a hybrid model, you can choose your office location among Bristol, Plymouth, Cheltenham, Manchester, York, and London, with regular visits to clients required.

This role involves developing mission-critical systems and contributing to national security efforts.

The Role:

As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will be part of a small, agile delivery team working on a Central Government project. Your key responsibilities include implementing continuous automated testing within a CI/CD lifecycle.

Responsibilities include:

1. Utilizing a range of open source tools and frameworks.
2. Manual and automation testing.
3. Working with DevOps and agile methodologies such as TDD, BDD, ATDD, and continuous testing supported by manual/exploratory testing.
4. Designing and implementing automated test frameworks for UI and API testing.
5. Using technologies like Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, Robot Framework, Serenity BDD, and Rest Assured.
6. Contributing to the QA team with innovative ideas and process improvements.
7. Performing non-functional testing, including security, performance, accessibility, and operational acceptance testing.
