Job summary

GSK is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to provide technical expertise for automation and control systems across site equipment and facilities. The role includes leading cross-functional teams, driving strategic improvements, and ensuring OT security and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will liaise with central teams to develop new automation technologies, manage cybersecurity awareness, and deputise for the site automation lead when required.

Qualifications

Recognised Apprenticeship in Electrical, Instrumentation/Controls Engineering or Computer Science discipline (or similar).
Bachelor of Engineering (or working towards).
Experience in Pharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise for automation and control system activities on new and existing equipment and facilities across the site.
Lead cross-functional groups through complex technical challenges and improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with internal and external standards, including OT Security Standards.
