Job summary

Stealth iT Consulting in London is seeking an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer to support a high-profile programme within the Financial sector. This role requires hands-on expertise across UI, API and framework-level testing in a modern Agile environment, with CI/CD integration and collaboration with DevOps, product and delivery teams to raise testing standards and quality.

• Design, develop and maintain robust automation test frameworks.
• Build and execute automated UI and API test suites.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support continuous improvement of testing standards, tooling and automation practices.
• Contribute to performance, security and non-functional testing where required.
• Work across cloud-based and containerised environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Selenium.
• Extensive API automation experience using Postman and SOAPUI.
• Experience with Karate Framework.
• Strong understanding of Cucumber / BDD.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions.
• Strong experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Good understanding of modern software engineering and testing practices.
