Job summary

VIQU Ltd. is seeking an experienced SC Cleared Automation Engineer for a hybrid role in London. You will contribute to building robust automation frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD, and work within an Agile team to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Ideal candidates will have strong scripting skills (Python/Java), experience with Postman/Selenium/Karate and container tech like Docker/Kubernetes, plus exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Java.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Familiarity with Cucumber BDD.
• Experience in test automation frameworks and tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Selenium and Karate.
• Cloud platforms (Azure) would be preferred.
• Experience of using Test Data Tools.
• Exposure to containerisation such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Performance and security testing experience.

Responsibilities

SC Cleared Automation Engineer - Inside IR35 - London - Hybrid

Seasoned SC Cleared Automation Engineer required to join a team, this opportunity may suit somebody who has had previous development experience and wants to support with building automation frameworks or previous Test Automation experience and wanting to develop your skills further.

For this opportunity you will have proven skills in:

• Proven experience of software testing principles and methodologies.


• Familiarity with Scripting languages such as Python, Java etc.


• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (eg, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).


• Experience working in an Agile environment.


• Familiarity with Cucumber BDD


• Be able to demonstrate previous experience in test automation frameworks and tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Selenium and Karate.


• Cloud platforms (Azure) would be preferred


• Experience of using Test Data Tools


• Exposure to containerisation such as Docker or Kubernetes


• Performance and security testing experience

Desirable

• Knowledge of Middleware systems/message queuing systems such as Kafka, IBM MQ, and ACE


• Knowledge of software architecture technologies such as XBRL, HTML


• Finance domain experience
