Job summary

VIQU Limited is seeking a SC Cleared Automation Engineer for a London-based hybrid role. The ideal candidate will help build and enhance automation frameworks, contribute to test automation and develop skills across CI/CD, scripting, and cloud technologies.

You should have hands-on experience with Python or Java, Cucumber BDD, and proficiency with Postman, Selenium, and Karate. Familiarity with Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes is desirable to support modern test environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Java etc.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Familiarity with Cucumber BDD
• Be able to demonstrate previous experience in test automation frameworks and tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Selenium and Karate.
• Cloud platforms (Azure) would be preferred
• Experience of using Test Data Tools
• Exposure to containerisation such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Performance and security testing experience

SC Cleared Automation Engineer - Inside IR35 - London - Hybrid

Seasoned SC Cleared Automation Engineer required to join a team, this opportunity may suit somebody who has had previous development experience and wants to support with building automation frameworks or previous Test Automation experience and wanting to develop your skills further.

For this opportunity you will have proven skills in:

• Proven experience of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Java etc.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Familiarity with Cucumber BDD
• Be able to demonstrate previous experience in test automation frameworks and tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Selenium and Karate.
