Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Senior Automation Design Engineer to drive secure, scalable automation solutions across its expanding EMEA platform. The role sits at the heart of the Automation Design team, influencing standards, governance, and innovation while collaborating with leading vendors.

You will develop automation architectures, review designs, and deliver high-quality documentation for large-scale data centre projects across Europe. Hybrid London-based with international exposure.

Qualifications

6+ years in industrial automation, data centres, or critical infrastructure.
Experience guiding automation design from concept to delivery.
Knowledge of OT networking and cybersecurity, IEC 62443 familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

Support automation design from concept through detailed delivery.
Develop secure, scalable automation architectures.
Review consultant designs and provide technical guidance.
Design and improve OT networking solutions.
Produce high-quality technical documentation and design deliverables.
Develop and test PLC/SCADA code libraries.
