Job summary

100 Percent is seeking an experienced Automation Lead near Cardiff, offering hybrid working and a £60,000 salary with full benefits. You will shape automation standards, design solutions and drive adoption across the business, with a progression towards governance as objectives are met.

You will lead automation across units, identify opportunities, develop reusable patterns, and ensure secure, scalable deployments. Travel to offices may be required to engage stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise automation solutions.
• Good understanding and experience with AI technology.
• Hands-on expertise with workflow orchestration platforms, ideally n8n.
• Strong PowerShell and Python development skills.
• Experience integrating systems using APIs, JSON, webhooks and automation tooling.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
• Ability to analyse business processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Experience producing technical designs, documentation and standards.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishing automation standards, governance and best practice.
• Identifying automation opportunities and prioritising delivery initiatives.
• Designing and delivering workflow automation solutions using n8n.
• Developing reusable automation patterns, tooling and frameworks.
• Ensuring solutions are secure, supportable and aligned to operational needs.
• Working with stakeholders to embed automation into day‑to‑day operations.
• Measuring and communicating the value delivered through automation.
• Evaluating emerging automation technologies and advising leadership.
