Job summary
Abbott in Witney is seeking a Controls Engineer to join the Operations Group at our state-of-the-art manufacturing site. You will work on motion control systems, interpret PLC codes, debug issues, and drive continuous improvement with Siemens S7/TIA Portal and Allen-Bradley Studio 5000.
The role requires automation project experience and a solid track record in fault finding and modifying PLC/HMI/Motion Control, with an engineering qualification (HNC or higher) or a recognised apprenticeship.
Qualifications
- Experience working on automation projects.
- Proven track record fault finding and modification to PLC, HMI and Motion Control.
- Experience with Siemens S7/TIA Portal and Allen Bradley Studio 5000 is essential.
- Exposure to Oracle database is advantageous.
