Nationwide is seeking a Principal Auditor to join our Internal Audit team and deliver high-impact audits across model risk, credit risk and other business areas. You’ll execute audits end-to-end, applying a risk-based approach, identify issues, and provide insights with constructive challenge.

This role supports governance and improvement within a purpose-driven organisation. You’ll have flexibility with hybrid working; a mix of office and home-based collaboration, with locations at Swindon,

• Proven experience in internal or external audit.
• Experience with Payments systems and the wider payments industry.
• Experience with auditing technology and risk controls.
• Experience planning and delivering audit work with testing controls.
• Strong stakeholder management and clear written outputs.
• Ability to analyse complex information and identify trends.
• Experience producing high-quality audit documentation and reports.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
