Job summary

Ambition Europe Limited is seeking an Audit Senior to join a well-established accountancy and business advisory firm with a strong UK presence and an international footprint. You will take ownership of audit fieldwork and planning, delivering high-quality work across a varied client portfolio.

You’ll mentor junior colleagues, communicate risk clearly to Partners, and prepare statutory financial statements from client data.

Qualifications

• ACCA or ACA qualification, or working towards final qualification.
• Solid external audit experience in a practice environment.
• Comfortable managing your own workload and on-site at client premises.
• Attention to detail in audit files and financial statements.
• Collaborative style with ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Carry out audit fieldwork, including substantive procedures, typically on-site at client premises
• Take responsibility for planning and completing audit assignments from start to finish
• Ensure audit files are documented to required standards
• Prepare statutory financial statements from client data
• Identify and communicate high-level risks to Partner/Manager
• Plan execution and finalisation of audit engagements for review
• Coach and motivate junior colleagues as they develop
