Ambition Europe Limited, based in Preston, seeks an Audit Senior to manage a diverse client portfolio, mentor junior colleagues, and act as a trusted adviser across sectors. The role emphasizes technical excellence, relationship building and delivering real commercial insight.

You will work in a hybrid setup with flexible hours and a focus on development and progression within a well-established UK firm with international reach.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with solid practice experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and developments.
• Excellent communication skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of audit clients across industries, ensuring timely work and regulatory compliance.
• Act as primary client contact, coordinate assignments and schedules.
• Produce planning memoranda and identify key risk areas for audit evidence.
• Supervise junior and semi-senior staff and ensure files are complete.
• Coordinate with internal departments for compliant planning and execution.
• Collate data into clear review-ready formats and draft reports.
• Monitor filing deadlines including corporation tax and Companies House.
• Undertake on-site client visits and provide trusted advisory support.
