Job summary

Barclays Bank PLC is seeking a Senior Manager for the Northern Audit Survey to provide senior leadership across the agenda, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard and aligned with business priorities. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, applying expert judgement to provide challenge, insight and assurance.

The role requires leading a team of audit professionals, managing workloads, and driving improvements in audit and survey processes, while upholding robust risk and control

Qualifications

• Considerable Invoice Discounting and ABL experience, with understanding of receivables finance products, client risk management, audit requirements, and portfolio oversight.
• Proven people management experience, with leadership of high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, resource planning and engagement.
• Considerable technical audit and survey expertise, including knowledge of methodologies, collateral controls, risk identification, and remedial action guidance.
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to influence decisions and convey complex risk matters clearly.
• Experience operating in a robust risk and control environment, driving continuous improvement and governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the audit and survey team to high performance and technical capability.
• Manage workloads and resources to deliver audits and surveys on time and with quality.
• Oversee complex client audits, surveys and reviews with robust risk identification.
• Build stakeholder relationships across Sales, Relationship Management, Credit Risk and Operations.
• Maintain technical standards, accreditations and governance compliance.
• Provide expert insight to support risk-based decision making.
• Drive continuous improvement in audit and survey processes.
• Promote a strong control environment across the Sales Finance portfolio.
