Job summary

TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is exclusively working with a well-established chartered accountancy practice in Mid Kent seeking an experienced Audit Partner to join their leadership team. You will act as RI for audit assignments and lead audit teams, ensuring high quality service for OMB, private equity and listed clients.

The role offers strategic guidance on financial reporting, client growth, and mentoring colleagues within the Audit & Accounts team.

Qualifications

• Proven audit experience within a professional services firm.
• Audit RI status and strong regulatory knowledge.
• Excellent client relationships and business development skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Responsible Individual (RI) for audit assignments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Lead and manage audit teams, overseeing planning, execution, and finalisation of audits in line with firm and professional standards.
• Ensure audits are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
• Provide strategic guidance on financial reporting and accountancy practices.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
• Support client retention and growth by identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Develop and execute strategies for client expansion, including cross-selling services, generating referrals, and networking within the business community.
• Monitor audit and accounts processes to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risks.
• Manage, mentor, and train colleagues within the Audit & Accounts team, providing guidance on technical and professional development.
