Job summary

TPF Recruitment is supporting a prestigious independent Chartered Accountants firm in Chatham on an Audit & Accounts Senior role. You will work across audit and accounts for a varied client base, including SMEs and owner-managed businesses, offering progression opportunities within a collaborative Kent practice.

You will lead audits, supervise staff, and help prepare statutory accounts while building strong client relationships and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both internal and with clients.
• Experience supervising others and delegating work.
• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits from planning through to completion.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff on audit and accounts assignments.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships.
• Assist with corporation tax computations and returns.
• Identify areas for process improvement and add value to clients.
