Job summary

EY UK is expanding its UKI Assurance team and seeks a Senior Manager to lead major external UK audit engagements. Based in Scotland, you will drive delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor junior staff, while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high-quality audits.

The role emphasizes senior leadership, technical excellence in UK GAAP/IFRS, and the ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary teams across large listed and multinational clients.

Qualifications

• Experience planning, leading, and delivering major external UK audit engagements (e.g. FTSE 100) in a senior managerial capacity.
• Fully qualified as a chartered accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA/ICAS/ICAEW).
• Excellent technical expertise using and applying IFRS and UK GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex audit engagements with adherence to firm methodologies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Build and nurture client relationships, providing advisory support throughout transactions.
