Job summary

Duncan & Toplis is seeking an experienced Assurance Manager to support high-quality assurance and compliance processes across the firm. The role can be based in Derby or Newark, with travel to the other office as required.

As part of the management team you will advise clients, oversee teams, manage a full portfolio, and develop new business opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accounting professional with relevant audit management experience.
• 2+ years UK-based Audit Manager experience in client-facing roles.
• Developing advisory skills and strong communication.
• Proactive in managing fees targets and client budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop team members by setting objectives and conducting performance reviews.
• Interact with clients daily to identify complex problems and provide solutions; primary client contact.
• Accountability for managing a full portfolio to the highest standard with cross-selling when appropriate.
• Be recognised as a technical expert within the field and share knowledge to improve performance.
• Develop relationships with new and existing clients to identify opportunities and create tender documents.
