Senior Audit Manager

London

£70,000 - £75,000

Are you passionate about becoming part of a growing firm, promoting the technical expertise of your team, and increasing its profile?

Your role as a Senior Audit Manager:

1. Reporting directly to Audit and Business Advisory Partners, you will manage a portfolio of audit and accountancy clients, working closely with partners primarily in London.
2. You will oversee the planning, supervision, and review of audit and accounts clients.
3. Take responsibility for each assignment from planning to completion, serving as the main contact for clients.
4. Assist the London Audit Team with technical accounting and auditing issues.
5. Train staff actively and contribute to their development.
6. Manage billing, monitor costs against budgets, report variances to partners, and prepare drafts of bills for review.

What you'll need to succeed:

1. ACA or ACCA qualification with at least 4 years post-qualification experience as a manager.
2. Proficiency in computer packages including CCH, Alphatax, MS Office, Sage 50, QuickBooks, Xero.
3. Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards (FRS 102, IFRS).
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Experience in training and mentoring staff members.
