Job summary

Dains is seeking an Audit Senior Manager/RI designate to lead high-quality audits, ensuring UK GAAP/IFRS compliance and maintaining strong client relationships across a diverse portfolio.

You will mentor teams, oversee engagement readiness, and contribute to business development while preparing to take on Responsible Individual responsibilities. This role offers clear progression toward Partner and the potential to sign audit reports in due course.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical grounding in UK GAAP, IFRS and FRS 102.
• Experience managing a substantial audit portfolio.
• Proven leadership and client relationship skills.
• Commercial awareness and strategic thinking at senior level.
• RI status not essential but potential to achieve it.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and review audits with emphasis on quality and timeliness.
• Provide technical guidance and final review of audit files.
• Mentor and develop audit seniors and staff.
• Manage key client relationships and identify value-add opportunities.
• Support business development and tender participation.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and engagement profitability.
