Job summary

Broadgate in Canterbury/Chatham is seeking an Audit Senior / Assistant Manager to deliver audits from planning through to completion. You will work in a hybrid model with exposure to a varied client portfolio, reporting to Managers, Directors and Partners.

The role offers significant client contact, ownership of assignments, and development opportunities as you progress to more senior levels. ACA/ACCA/ICAS qualification or equivalent is preferred, with external audit experience in professional

• Experience in external audits within professional practice.
• Ability to manage deadlines and budgets.
• Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of audit areas from planning to completion.
• Manage workload to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Review accounts and respond to client queries and issues.
• Build relationships with clients and act as a reliable contact throughout the audit.
• Support senior team members and junior staff to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist with tendering, proposals and wider business development activity.
