Job summary

Clark Wood is recruiting an Audit Senior for a hybrid role in Kent (Chatham). The role covers leading audits for a varied client portfolio, supervising junior staff and coordinating with Managers and Partners across the engagement lifecycle.

The successful ACA/ACCA-qualified candidate will oversee planning, fieldwork and completion, ensuring timely delivery, client satisfaction and adherence to quality standards. Excellent progression paths and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification or equivalent with external audit experience in UK practice.
• Strong external audit experience and ability to lead assignments.
• Excellent client communication and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Supervise junior team members and review work.
• Coordinate with Managers and Partners and monitor budgets and timelines.
• Prepare audit files and concluding reports including Going Concern & KAM findings.
• Maintain high standards of audit quality and compliance.
