Job summary

Pro Talent is recruiting an Audit Senior in Shrewsbury to take ownership of audit assignments across a diverse portfolio, including owner-managed businesses, charities and FCA-regulated clients. You will lead fieldwork on-site, hand over work ready for review, and mentor trainees as part of a collaborative team.

The role offers flexible working options, a clear path to Audit Client Manager, and strong support; a wide variety of clients ensures no two days are the same.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or a finalist with solid audit experience behind you.
• Two to three years' external audit experience in UK practice.

Responsibilities

• Leading audit fieldwork from planning through to completion.
• Preparing draft statutory accounts and corporation tax computations.
• Being the client’s day-to-day contact during the audit.
• Reviewing and coaching trainees on the job.
• Spotting issues early and addressing them.
