Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with a top 50 firm in Cheltenham to recruit an Audit Senior. You will oversee an audit team on-site, mentor junior members, and handle a varied corporate client portfolio.

Responsibilities include planning and executing statutory audits, preparing statutory accounts and tax calculations, and supporting VAT returns. The role offers strong progression and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
Experience planning and executing statutory audits for corporate clients.
Ability to train and oversee junior staff.

Responsibilities

Plan, carry out, and finalise audit assignments while supporting the audit manager.
Prepare statutory accounts, corporation tax calculations, and returns for limited companies and groups.
Assist with other compliance tasks, including preparing VAT returns.
Prepare accounts for partnerships and sole traders, including drafting income tax calculations.
Establish and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
Train and oversee junior staff members.
Prepare management accounts.
