Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a top 50 firm in Cheltenham to hire an Audit Senior who will lead on-site audits and mentor junior staff.

You will plan and execute statutory audits for corporate clients, prepare statutory accounts and tax calculations, and build strong relationships with clients while supporting the audit manager. The role offers a supportive environment and clear progression.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
• Competent in audit, accounting and tax software.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Able to work effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, carry out, and finalise audit assignments while supporting the audit manager.
• Prepare statutory accounts, corporation tax calculations, and returns for limited companies and groups.
• Assist with other compliance tasks, including preparing VAT returns.
• Prepare accounts for partnerships and sole traders, including drafting income tax calculations.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Train and oversee junior staff members.
• Prepare management accounts.
