Capital One (Europe) plc in Nottingham is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join the UK Audit Team. You will focus on audits across consumer lending, delivering independent insights and high-quality assurance to the Audit Committee.

The role supports hybrid working with three days in-office and two days remote. The ideal candidate will hold ACCA/ACA/CIMA/IIA or equivalent, with demonstrated audit or risk experience, and a mindset of continuous learning to strengthen our data-driven audit

Qualifications

• Qualified in ACCA/ACA/CIMA/IIA or equivalent.
• Proven history of contributing to internal or external audit, risk or compliance engagements.
• Crucial ability to understand business processes and controls.

Responsabilités

• Perform risk assessments of business activities and testing based on audit scope.
• Communicate issues, risks and recommendations to management.
• Operate independently and complete work to schedule with high quality.
• Build strong working relationships with business partners and Audit group.
• Leverage data analytics during planning and fieldwork.
• Follow up on audit actions to ensure timely remediation.
• Pursue learning opportunities to enhance skills and competencies.
