Job summary

AMS Group is looking for an Audit & Accounts Senior to deliver high-quality audit and accounts assignments for a varied client portfolio across the UK. You will work with the Audit Manager and leadership to prepare statutory accounts, supervise junior colleagues, and maintain strong client relationships.

This hands-on, delivery-focused role requires technical excellence, clear communication, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading audit fieldwork and preparing statutory accounts.
• Strong communication and relationship management with clients.
• Ability to supervise junior staff and provide coaching.

Responsibilities

• Audit fieldwork for a range of clients, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Prepare year-end statutory accounts in line with FRS/ISAs.
• Draft audit working papers for review by managers.
• Review junior/trainee work and provide feedback.
• Assist with audit planning, risk assessment and scoping.
