Job summary

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the North East region seeks a Senior Audiologist with a special interest in auditory implants to join the North East Regional Cochlear Implant Programme (NERCIP).

The role covers implantable devices for paediatric and adult patients, within a wider Audiology department that includes earmould lab, balance clinics and paediatric screening. Flexible working and annualised hours are supported.

Qualifications

• BSc Audiology or equivalent.
• Registered as HCPC Clinical Scientist, RCCP Clinical Physiologist, AHCS Health Care Scientist.
• MSc in Audiology or equivalent.
• British Sign Language level one or equivalent.
• BAA Higher Training Scheme Certificate of Clinical Competence in specialist area(s) role is within, or equivalent (e.g. paediatric assessment).

Responsibilities

• Principle duties include working within the Auditory Implant service.

HCPC/Clinical Scientist / RCCP / AHCS

MSc in Audiology or equivalent

British Sign Language level 1

BAA Higher Training Scheme Certificate of Clinical Competence
