Job summary

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Senior Audiologist with a special interest in auditory implants. The post supports the North East Regional Cochlear Implant Programme (NERCIP) and patients across the Tees Valley.

This Band 6, full-time role is based at The James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, with flexible working and clear opportunities for professional development in a Trust that values wellbeing and inclusion.

Qualifications

• BSc Audiology or equivalent qualification required.
• HCPC/other registration as specified (Clinical Scientist or equivalent).
• MSc in Audiology or equivalent is desirable.
• British Sign Language Level 1 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Principle duties include working within the Auditory Implant service.
• Deliver high-quality audiology care for paediatric and adult patients.
• Contribute to regional cochlear implant programme activities.
