Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust seeks a senior audiologist to deliver diagnostic testing, hearing assessments and hearing aid fitting for paediatric and adult patients, with an 80/20 split and involvement in the 16-21 transition service.

The post emphasises clinical audit, quality work and mentoring of students, with M-level study expected and HCPC registration essential.

Formación

• BSc in Audiology or equivalent qualification.
• Evidence of continuing professional development and knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care to paediatric and adult patients, implementing care programmes.
• Take responsibility for the 16–21 transition service.
• Manage own caseload and deliver care plans.
• Work independently to provide specialist diagnostic and rehabilitation services.
• Carry out routine and complex hearing assessments for paediatric patients.
• Complete diagnostic ABR and OAE testing for NHSP and paediatric referrals.
• Fit hearing aids with rehabilitation and support and verify fittings.
