Senior Audio Visual Consultant

Thrive on openness, respect, and collaboration? Good. Us too. Join us as our new Senior Audio Visual Consultant. Vanguardia, a Buro Happold company, is looking for a Senior AV Consultant with experience ideally in the sports and entertainment sector.

Our team develops high-quality audio-visual systems for large-scale projects worldwide. You will be responsible for audio-visual systems design on challenging projects, including The Sphere in Las Vegas, Co-op Arena, and major music events across the UK such as Glastonbury Festival. An interest in live music, broadcast, sports, events, and performing arts is desirable.

Key Duties:

1. Sound insulation design
2. Designing audio-visual systems and displays, including large-format LED screens and projection
3. Providing schematic designs to showcase innovative solutions to clients
4. Sound system design
5. IPTV/Digital signage design
6. Presentation systems
7. AV control room systems
8. Video production systems
9. Integrated audio solutions
10. Broadcast systems
11. Room control/room booking systems

Your Skills and Experience:

1. Understanding client AV requirements and producing client briefs
2. AV design process, both independently and in line with RIBA stages
3. Design of AV systems and infrastructure
4. Managing AV system budgets and cost estimates
5. Project coordination with client teams
6. Maintaining knowledge of industry-leading technologies
7. Developing computational design tools including Revit
